Automated female voice, claiming to be from BT Internet Dept., who have supposedly been trying to call me urgently, because of ‘suspicious activity’ on my account. My internet & line will be disconnected. Press 1 to speak to an ‘executive’ to rectify this. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I'd had a similar call a few years ago. in that call the caller said that there was a takeover bid for the company. when I said I wanted a very high amount for my shares, the caller was rude. no idea if it's the same company, but beware.
