As usual the dirty filthy packies have changed their number again, they basically call you, tell you your pc is fucked which how could they low? Seriously! If you fall for this your deserve it! After you give them access to it, they use it to do various illegal activities including stealing your identity, credit card numbers anything they can salvage and after that it becomes part of a network of pcs used to hack and generally cause havoc. It seems its a scam as they called me as a car insurance company asking my bank card details for payming without sending me an email or post for the contract details!

From another site it's a Cardiff code and a recorded voice suggests it's an hmrc source, but number it says to ring is a 0161 No. Advice is don't ring.

Called to say I had been in an accident and they had received my file. Funny I ve never been in a car accident!! They hung up on me in the end as I was asking too many questions.

This number was used by my local Peugeot garage/dealership where I take my car for MOT, servicing and repairs reminding me that my car is due for MOT.

A man called my telephone to ask me to access my computer so he can fix the issue with the internet connection. I had not reported a fault, he was not calling from my provider and used a wrong mame for me. So, I hung up. The following day I discovered that the internet connection on my son s laptop had indeed been disabled! He must have visited a dodgy website but it is worrying that they could retrieve my telephone number from it.

Scam call saying it's on their system that I may have been involved in incident. Very poorly spoken, could not get name of company, but she'll take me off their system...

I just had this number call,line went dead after a few seconds listening but not speaking.

A man asked me which credit or bank cards I have - he said he can help claim compensation. I did not trust him and never answered - the line went dead.

Same as you all, thought the same thoughts tries the number and then searched it to double check and knew something wasn t adding up.
