I don't normally answer these calls, but the number was similar to one I know. Wish I'd had the presence of mind to ask her how she got my unlisted number. I'm in western Canada, so maybe they've expanded their operations.

Had a call from TRS this morning - would not deviate from script when pressed on what TRS stands for, which financial companies had given them the mandate to call me etc. Admit they are a marketing company targeting ex-pats who might benefit from being informed about legal changes in pensions. They ask if you are aware of those changes, or request to send you stuff by email. I informed them that I was up-to-date and they wished me a good day etc. One to avoid unless you want to be hounded, I'd guess.

Jason Phillips called me from this number and then sent 2 email copy letters with Financial Ombudsman Service at top right of the letters, stating a big refund for my solar PV. I have twice received calls last week from somebody (Roger, I think) claiming to be from SSE. He wanted to talk about a new contract. He didn’t specify whether it was gas or electricity. He first asked for somebody who has not worked here for several years. I asked him to send the new prices by email. He seemed upset by this very simple request and claimed it was impossible. I told him to call back later in the week when he had sent the email. He did from this number and came out with the same drivel
