SCAM Woman with strong foreign accent claimed to be from 'BT technical department' (immediately obvious not genuine) and said they had received notifications that my internet was being used by others fraudulently. Pointed out BT not my provider which she ignored, she then tried to guess some letters from my email to 'send me a verification' and when I said that wasn't my email, accused me of lying!!!! Presumably hoping I'd supply my actual email.
I am registered with TPS which is supposed to stop these calls, obviously this number didnt look at the website otherwise they wouldnt have called me. Cant have been important when I missed the call as they left no message on my voicemail, probably trying to sell something and not worth talking to

Possible scam. Women said she was from Amazon and they'd noticed unusual activity on my Mum's account. Told her to press 1 if she hadn't bought something for £700. 01273004401 called my landline today 15/05/23 at 17:59 hrs. Picked up the call and a male voice said "Goodby". Not calling it back as number not known to me. Possible SCAMMERS. Have recorded the number and deleted it from my landline. Classed as "ANNOYING"
