This caller informed me that two high cost debits had been taken from my bank account. i was instructed to phone back on the number and speak to an advisor. No bank identity was given. My name was not given PHISHING Call blocked and reported
Call received on 7/10/22 at 1.22pm. Computerised voice, saying that it was from the inland revenue.
Every time you phone this number it rings once then goes on to engaged tone I think what they are selling is a scam took my money in January no goods received and no response from them.
This number rang me yesterday. It was a recorded message saying money had been taken from our account by Amazon and also a money transfer. It then rang off. This is a scam number. DO NOT ANSWER IT. SCAM - somebody called to ask to speak to my husband regarding his business account with British Gas. When I asked them to contact my husband's business directly they stated that the only number they had (which is our home number). They gave me a reference number and asked if my husband could call them. It all sounded very plausible - please be aware.
SCAM. Called just before midday today (25/03/22). A male, southern English, recorded(?) voice on a line that seemed to be breaking up assured me that I was entitled to a free medical alert pendant. Scam! Have nothing to do with anyone calling from this number!

Tried to get more money out of me and get my card details .
