They always say this isn't a survey, I only want to ask a few questions ! Lots of delays and background noises. Thought he had hung up, cause there was a silence on the line, I got so frustrated that I told him to f*ck off ! he was still on line, which surprised me cause of them being silent and I put the phone down on him !

What gets me is they are obviously from India and call themselves Dave, Alan, Ruth etc which is highly unlikely! This is a company called Secure Homecare Ltd, trading as 247 Assist. They purport to provide homecare services such as pendant alarms etc. Once they have an elderly persons phone number they ring regularly, approxiately once every 2 months and sell a further item - usually in the region of about £135- £150.00. We were able to obtain a refund for the last one sold completely unecessarily to my mother - it took about a month to get a refund. We asked them to ensure that they removed details from their databas

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438727xxx range... People did someone answer this number?
