The text message related to card transactions that were made including a cash point withdrawl from within the branch on the day before. On the basis that I have no on-line or telephone banking, the knowledge of the transactions made , could only have come from within the Bank it's self via a genuine source or if RBS had a systems security breach(unlikely). Replying Y put me at little risk except confirming the mobile telephone number was linked to my identity via the transactions - which was already known b
Usual computerised female voice purporting to be calling from "Internet Service Provider" telling me my IP has been compromised. Utter rot! I get at least one of these calls every day, each time apparently from a different number. However, this is the first time it's registered as a local (Bristol) number. High time our telephone service providers found a way of universally barring calls that use a fake number to bypass the Unidentified Number barring.
Several calls from this number in an attempt to find out who they are I answered the calls only to meet with no response.

Unsure who this number is but had missed call on personal mobile. When rang back from personal mobile, number was unrecognised, however when I rang from my work mobile phone was switched off!
Caller pretending to be from HMRC. Claims a lawsuit is filed against the caller for tax evasion. This is a current (Jan 2021) scam that targets the elderly and vulnerable and is known to HMRC. Number is non-existent when one tries to call back
