This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked

Absolutely a pain calls constantly

Received a cold call from the number: 0121 6393161 The call was made to our 11 year old son. It frightened him as they were very pushy and unaccepting of what they were told.

This is not a real Barclays's Barclaycard number. They left a voicemail saying there was suspicious activity on my Barclaycard and they needed to talk to me. However it sounds very very convincing and convinced me. They seem to have copied some of Barclay

My wife just had a call from this number, asking for payment for money owed to the phone service provider, which she didn't. Then he mentioned two other phones on her account, which she doesn't have. Finally mentioned a misunderstanding when I walked in and started asking questions and put the phone down. Ringing the number back shows its out if service.

Received a call from this number with an electronic voice recording claiming that our BT line was to be disconnected. We are NOT with BT! . This is a scam and a fraud. It was also at 8:30 in the morning when not everyone would be up. I do note that googling this number does seem to produce a former genuine use for it, but i double-checked the number. This was a scammer., There is no question about it.

This is some guy called Harry Rogan. He scams people off for thousands of pounds for modelling, he tries to persuade u to be a model but it’s just a scam. Sounds like a criminal, extremely dangerous

This number calls me only to hang up immediately if i answer.

Telemarketing

This number comes from Edinburgh, I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Have missed calls from them on my mobile, was trying to dig some info on the internet before calling them back, but found nothing, no luck. People pls did someone answer this number, who is it?

Complete scam, Well organised fraud using spoof Barclays sms message which links onto existing thread. Only use phone number on back of card.

Fraud Automated call from 07719 095516. Receiving an automated telephone call and was told my National Insurance number has been used fraudulently. My assets were going to be frozen and I was going to be arrested if I didn't press 1 to talk to an officer and supposedly fix the issue. Obviously the criminals would pressure you into handing over personal details to enable them to commit fraud using your credentials and information.
