Then she went straight into her bullsh!t spiel:- "Our records show that you ve done industrial work in the past. Is that true?" Needless to say I ve never done any so-called "industrial work" in my entire life. So, the whole thing was just a fishing expedition. You know the really annoying thing? Experiences as others . I just spoke to BT - evidently this is an international company beyond the reach of TPS, using the 01603 290004 number as a dummy call ID to mask the fact it is an international call so that it doesn t appear as International on lines with Caller ID. Is generally believed to be a scam aiming to get access to bank account details for the purposes of defrauding. Nothing BT or TPS can do - Government are the only ones with the power to stop these types of calls.

Allegedly a company who had my details because I’d shown interest in trading!!! Total lies .....never done anything like that. The woman was getting irate because I repeatedly said I wasn’t interested. In the end I told her I was ending the call. I hate being rude to these people but sometimes you just want to tell them to eff off and leave you alone. They are persistent and I feel dangerous to certain members of the public who are vulnerable and taken in by their rubbish.

Exactly the same phone rang once I rang them back they said they were calling for a non fault a cidemt I'd had I asked why they hung up when calling me they didn't know
We assumed they were Domestic and General (who we've had policy with for years) as they knew our dishwasher cover was about to expire. Gave them bank details and renewed. Thought it was strange as it felt fishy. Phoned Domestic and General who said it wasn't them so now we are covered by two companies. Now trying to get some money back from Domestic Assure. Shouldn't have given bank details but they knew about our machine so convincing.
