I said I have no PPI but she said is bank charges that I pay on my bank account. She wanted to know what bank I have, type of account and year I was born. Usual computerised female voice purporting to be calling from "Internet Service Provider" telling me my IP has been compromised. Utter rot! I get at least one of these calls every day, each time apparently from a different number. However, this is the first time it's registered as a local (Bristol) number. High time our telephone service providers found a way of universally barring calls that use a fake number to bypass the Unidentified Number barring.
Claimed to be from Domestic & General Insurance, but claearly wasn't - wanted bank details to renew a policy.
