Cam call from a company called Alliance Hide Solutions (or Alliance Hive Solutions?) about a non existent car crash. I am on the TPS (Telephone Preference Service) which should prevent scam calls. Where do these people get out telephone numbers from? So annoying. Harassment.

Automated call - recorded message supposedly from the 'National Crime Agency' - I hung up and blocked the number. They called again a few minutes later from a different number - now also blocked.

This number has rung a few times but now gets intercepted by our BT Call Blocker phone. (There is a momentary beep, then a pause whilst the caller is asked by an automated message to state their name which is then recorded. If they do this the phone then rings and the system plays back the caller s name and we have the option to accept, reject or permanently block the caller). Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing - sometimes energy companies. Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs for just ringing you and left no message (other than scam...)? If this was a silent call for you, do not call back for any reason!
