Cynical call, a day after receiving a SSE dividend, an unsolicited call from the USA about my share holding. An Indian sounding person, in a call centre, who had to asked on whose behalf he was calling. Then said it was some form of financial company. As if one would talk about your shares to an unknown person, acting for an off-shore company. Initially he was trying to make me believe he was connected to SSE.

SCAM: Phone rang and then caller, a computer, hung up when I didn't speak! Suspected computer call trying to sniff out voice lines. If you answer then the line is detected as 'a voice line' and will usually be logged or routed through to a sales person. You'll be called back later by some sales dude. They're usually trying to flog or get you to sign up for house insulation or some scam survey based on a government scheme. They're usually quick to say they're not selling, simply enquiring; surveying; etc.

Claims to be from EE promotions, I thought it was true as I did recently ask EE to call me as I was in the realm for an upgrade. Indian Voice starting speaking straight away and was insisting I listened, was trying to check my personal home address and details!!! AVOID THIS NUMBER!!!

SCAM just about to check my accounts ( just in case I’m wrong!) but it was a recorded call alleging a suspicious transaction to a money transfer service. No bank id provided and asked to press buttons to connect to “service team”

SCAM The caller claims to be from Amazon and in this call discussed my having two Amazon Prime accounts, one with an annual fee and the other with a monthly subscription. She asked whether I wished to cancel the yearly subscription. I replied yes preferring to determine the account on a monthly basis. SCAM Fraud - Said they were from Sky offering refund because of issues with phone and internet- We don't have any sky package and the person had quoted the family name but were sketchy with first name and even misspelt it when I was pushing who they wanted to talk to and then they hanged up when I said it was a scam call.

Scam call from an automated male English voice indicating a suspicious credit card transaction to an American gambling website. This same message was also received 5 minutes earlier on a different number 01590 674 555. Clearly a scam!

SCAM FRAUD Scammer claiming to be from Starling. He will try to get you to approve a high value transaction, he tried £751. I used him to check if my info actually was leaked and then I rejected the transaction and cancelled my card lol. Pretty funny call, although dangerous to those who aren’t very IT literate. I hope the lad is able to find a job soon so he can stop the scams, assuming he actually wants to stop…

Sounded like a scam

SCAM, he pretends to have a contract that is based in Turkey and then needs money for transporting of goods as clearance cost more than he thought. He pretends to want to come visit you in your country but never arrives

SPAM I think! Number sends a (Covid-19) SMS alert message: NHS: You've recenty been in close contact with a confirmed case. You must book a test kit: https://my-pcr-order.com But, the SMS does not actually mention Covid-19! And, the website it takes you to appears to be the genuine NHS website, where it explicitly says you no longer have to isolate or do a lateral flow test, and there is no information on how to get a pcr test now that Test and Trace no longer operates!!!

SCAM recorded call: "This is your bank's security dept ....Amazon payment ....card payment .... etc etc" Did not respond. Line went dead after a short time.

Text Message "Text with message "Hi, We could not dispatch your item. Please go to: https: // driver-reschedule18 . com" (Spaces in address inserted by me). Following link, it purports to be on behalf of EVRI and requires a fee to reschedule a failed delivery.

Pre recorded Scam call relating to unexpected withdrawals from a bank account. No name or bank mentioned. Asked for me to press 1 to confirm. That's a giveaway (red flag) as is the lack of personal details. I put the phone down immediately.
