Scam call saying internet would be cut off unless pressed 1 to speak to service provider to buy a new router !!!

The guy just went straight into a script, no explanation of why he was calling or what the company were about. I put the phone down, "Grants" and Windows were mentioned.

These people ring every day. They ask for someone who doesn t live here. When I became annoyed with this, they obviously made a note somewhere and now ask for the person who is in charge of the phone bill. Very very annoying and won t stop talking even when you say you don t want to talk to them, so you have to just put the phone down while they are talking.

Asked how he knew that, told me it is in his database, I asked what details he had about me and my property in his database and to treat that question as a GDPR request with 28 days to comply before I report this to the Government Information Commissioner. Have had a number of messages left by Dee, supposedly to do with HMRC. Returned call to see what it was about, the person i spoke to asked a lot of questions about HMRC and supplier debt, as well as our turnover. Obviously didn t give them any information! All sounded a bit suspicious!

It was a dead call. It rang, I answered. Several seconds of silence later and the call dropped. Another site has a claim that it is a debt management company. I could not tell. Ringing and hanging up to encourage a call back seems to be on the rise. I would say that there is no reason to trust it.

This number calls my mobile at least twice daily every day which is extremely irritating; however I never answer and they never leave a voicemail.... I think if it was a genuine call they would leave a message.

This Number Belongs to Lloyds banking group, i was Sceptical to start with but rang my bank (Lloyds) to confirm the persons name and he IS part of Lloyds Group Customer Services.
