Absolute con. I googled the number for Argos in Norwich and got the 118469 number and thought it looked odd but dialled it to find it was a directory. They asked what number I wanted and I said oh I thought I was calling Argos. They said no but would you like the number so I said yes. Surely they gave an obligation to tell me I would be charged £7 to have it read out to me! A total scam and rip off.

Husband answered call and after a long silence a female Asian voice asked 'is that Mr :*****. He replied ' it might be'. Another long silence and the call and she hung up.
Very rude lady on the end about a car accident that never happened. She said there was a claim and kept asking if other members of the house hold had the accident. Advice is to ignore and block
