Short calls, several times. When I answer, they called me by my first name, as though she knew me? then went on about my Aviva insurance that I have recently cancelled? I HAVE NEVER HAD AVIVA INSURANCE, this is obviously an unscrupulous company fishing around for information. Obviously I hung up and then blocked the number on my mobile.

Call center Said his name was Dale from consultive and was following up a call for a colleague on furlough. Then proceeded to ask about our eon contract due to expire next month. At this point I hung up as he was clearly just on a fishing for information and lied about it being a call back. He then tried to call us back but I didn't answer at which point he gave up. I never trust someone who rings up and lies to me so I can only assume that they were concealing their true intentions

When I answrred the call from the Aberdeen UK number and heard the chater in the background I actually pre-empted them by saying "Do you want to speak to the owner of the business?" Received call apparently from a bot at Santander, on a mobile number I had given them. It appeared to know my name & day/month of birth, and details of two recent transactions I made on the account. It asked for only very limited information (year of birth) and confirmation that the transactions were genuine (they were). So, probably OK.
