Another Vanquis number. The company keep calling me but asking for someone else whom I have never heard of. Despite being told (eventually) that they will remove my number, they always call again, usually from another number.

They phoned twice Fri 10/10/14. First call I answered but the line was dead i.e. Silent call. Second time I ignored in then 1471 said it was 01702 318818. Like "fed up" below when I rang it was a short message saying they were Independent Market Research then the call was cut off. Complained to FCO but they say there is nothing they can do at the moment.

I got some harrassment calls from time to time. So I devised a script which I copy and paste. Feel free to do the same. I ve received 3 calls from these idiots - two I failed to answer but after reading posts on sites like this decided, for my own amusement, to answer on the third call. The chap on the other end rambled on about insurance and said he was from a company called Red Star. When I asked who Red Star were he got quite abrupt/aggressive. Having reported a fault to BT online, I received a call from this number. My (BT) screening phone did not let it through. I rang BT to ask about an engineer and said I had received a call from this number, I was told that, upon checking my account, no one from BT had called. It appears not to be a genuine BT number.
