A woman with a West African accent phoned me at 4.30 pm on 12th July 2012. She asked me how my "claim" was progressing and whether she could help. Obviously a telemarketing call because there was the usual buzz of conversation in the background. The annoying thing is that I m on the Telephone Preference List of people who should *NOT* be contacted by telemarketers. Unfortunately, it doesn t seem to have worked in this case. I nicely spoken lady phoned me saying I had told them I was receiving a lot of unwanted call and that she told me that they can stop this and it is approved by the police , they are willing to send me a box for a one off fee for £39.99. I told her I had no money at the moment . She then told me she will call me back in 4 weeks . I have now blocked her from calling my number . This is a scam and don’t part with any money .

This number did not call me it was in my notes on the app on my phone and I don't remember putting it there and I have no one in my contacts with that number.

Asked for me by name, then said he was from Citizen advice and I had unsecured debt. I asked what branch of Citizen advice he was from as it was strange they were calling me He responded, oh why don t you put the phone down don t bark at me, just put the phone down you F***ing idiot. then hung up.
