This number has called me twice today, both times no one spoke when I answered and then the phone went dead. Do these people think we have nothing better to do than answer calls when there is no one on the other end. Obviously automated dialling systems so their operators do not waste their time. Had a useful tip from a mate, when they ask if you have had an accident, reply YES and say that you have been trying to get hold of a claims management company because the accident killed three people - they soon hang up!

Potential Fraud/Spam/Scam. They were asking to do a survey on energy savings (government scheme?) to see how windows/insulation are in my home. Said I was not interested, but since they called me by my name I asked where they got it from and she said from the Energy Saving Database. ???? what database is that? When I further enquired she said they will mark me as having received it and hang up without further discussion. Trying to dial the number does not even connect.
Global Computer Consumer Technical Department. A scam. Gets you to let them take over your computer. Then they will charge you to take off the virus that they put in. All Indian accents. Steer well clear. The call back 1471 says number withheld, but I got the scammer to tell me.

They were not very helpful or interested, did say when they last called me, which didn't match these calls, so I said will they investigate this number and the reply was, Oh there are a lot of calls made making out they are from the Halifax, just use number on the back of your card.
