SCAM On answering got a pre-record of serious sounding older man stating there was an issue with my national insurance number and fraudulent activity and to press 1 for help (likely to a premium rate number) and to then sure to go and ask me to share my personal details. Definitely a scam.

All the same story everywhere, again just another telemarketing call with the hearing injury claims or similar insurance marketing. Not interested, blocking it.

Potential Fraud/Spam/Scam. They were asking to do a survey on energy savings (government scheme?) to see how windows/insulation are in my home. Said I was not interested, but since they called me by my name I asked where they got it from and she said from the Energy Saving Database. ???? what database is that? When I further enquired she said they will mark me as having received it and hang up without further discussion. Trying to dial the number does not even connect.

It is a scam. They call you as people from HMRC and ask for payment details. BEWARE

This number claimed it was Royal Mail and they attempted to deliver a parcel(I was in all day) and to click on a link to reschedule delivery

They phoned offering me £1000 Loan to which I accepted they then asked me for £25 administration fee which they made me go to a shop to get what's called a pay safe voucher which I did I know I'm an idiot anyway I gave them the voucher code they then said they would call me back which they did trying to get another £75 out of me so I told them to xxxx off some Indian women with a bad attitude anyway ripped off for £25 gutted

SCAM - It is like outlined below and claims that they will make a criminal case against you and to press 1 to talk to an adviser HMRC is aware of an automated phone call scam which will tell you HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you, and to press 1 to speak to a caseworker to make a payment. We can confirm this is a scam and you should end the call immediately. This scam has been widely reported and often targets elderly and vulnerable people.

Call rejected as number was from Dumfries (I live in the West Midlands!). I googled it to find out who they were. PPI calls from Dumfries. Caller now blocked.

Indian sounding female. Said she was calling from London IT support. She wanted to "help" me fix my PC. I played along for a minute just to let her think she had me, then i told her to F Off and to get an honest job. She hung up. Disgusting practice, she should be in prison along with her bosses.
