This unrecognised number was the first of several scam calls received today (the others all claimed to be Talktalk) but. when I answered this number there was background noise followed by a couple of clicks before the line went dead.
made an enquiry about getting cheaper season tickets - have been called almost daily since then, despite me telling them that my annual season ticket isn't due for renewal until January and they promised to call me then. I've blocked them now.

This number has range me 3 days on the trot, no voicemail left on any occasion which to me means that it s not important.

SCAM Text message "HSBC: A payment was attempted from a new device. If this was not you please visit: http://www.istop-verifiedpayee.com/hsbc/" I am NOT with HSBC & google search found nothing on 'istop-verifiedpayee.com' (not an established website) so HIGHLY LIKELY to be a phishing SCAM - BEWARE!!! I have not visited link so don't know what is on other side... I reported to HSBC at [email protected] also at https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/report-phishing. Do the same!!
