Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing - sometimes energy companies. Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs for just ringing you and left no message (other than scam...)? If this was a silent call for you, do not call back for any reason! SCAM. Knew that I lived outside the UK, had my name and had my foreign mobile number. Called to say that they were helping Brits who lived outside the UK who may have been mis-sold financial products. I told them my partner worked for the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) and the guy laughed and said "ah, probably not for you then". Polite enough but clearly the new type of "have you been mis-sold PPI" calls. Potentially a scam.
