SCAM received call from Irish lady saying she was PayPal asking me to confirm email etc gave me the number 08003687151 to call her back when I refused. I have spoken to PayPal and they have said it’s a scam and to block the number.

Call 2-3 times a day. Sometimes ambulance chasers, sometimes PPI etc... Ignore at all times.
Experiences as others . I just spoke to BT - evidently this is an international company beyond the reach of TPS, using the 01603 290004 number as a dummy call ID to mask the fact it is an international call so that it doesn t appear as International on lines with Caller ID. Is generally believed to be a scam aiming to get access to bank account details for the purposes of defrauding. Nothing BT or TPS can do - Government are the only ones with the power to stop these types of calls.

(posted on tellows.co.uk) DO NOT deal with these people in any way - and always give them FALSE information, and NEVER EVER let them connect remotely to your PC - they will probably ask you to download software from a link they give you - NEVER NEVER do this!

Highly suspect scam. Company name claiming to be Stefan Ofenbock. Had loose background info on 'investments', unregulated land and carbon credit investment. Also loose info on 'victim'. Claims to be regulated by FCA, 30 years old company. Google search reveals web page only 24 days old. www.stefanofenbock.com. Alternative number 0203 137 2822.
