Scam recording from my visa card Co advising 2 fraud transactions for big amts, called my card Co from no on bk of my card and no transactions have taken place, be careful all especially the elderly, try use a credit card at all times then transfer from Yr debit card to pay it, never take out he house Yr debit card, as bank don't always reimburse u for fraud, the credit card Co will if you have shown you took care reporting any suspicious activity and were careful with Yr details online. SCAM Automated call Banking AMAZON American female voice claiming that my Visa Mastercard (!) was being debited for large amounts of money - one going overseas, and the other to Amazon. "Click 1 if you've authorised these transactions, or 2 to speak to our fraud advisor", or similar message. I put the phone down.

Smooth talking guy, asked for me by name. Wanted to talk to me regards my BT bill. I asked him what the problem was. He said no problem, I am your BT agent and could do a better deal. I said to him "but you aren't BT are you" and he told me he was authorised, had a number etc etc. Didn't seem too pleased when I said to him "You are not BT you are JTalk and hung up. Rang back but I let it ring out. Don't need to do business with a liar.

I received a call from this number to a landline in Switzerland They claimed to be from Visa saying that there had been suspicious charges to my visa card. They gave me details , and said that I should push 1 if they were OK, and 2 if I should reject them. I hung up

SCAM Female operator trying to tell me the company she worked for controlled my broadband and that i could be getting a better rate. When i declined and requested she didn't call me again, she became very argumentative to the point she was shouting down the phone.

Scam and/or phishing attempt. It attempted to get me to message the phone number via WhatsApp. The person had sent an SMS from another number (07566706069) claiming to have dropped their phone down the toilet and that they’d instantly acquired a new phone. They asked me to message specifically via WhatsApp (???). This is the fourth message I’ve had this week, from a variety of unknowns, being asked to message a new number by someone claiming to have lost/damaged their phone.

I had a call this afternoon apparently from this number 08000234567, which I know is the number of the Financial Ombudsman's Office, when the caller said he was from the fraud dept of my bank. I had called the Financial Ombudsman earlier in the day on that number. It did not feel right and when I challenged the caller he put down the phone. Somebody may be able to pick up the numbers of those who have called the FOO? I will tell the FOO by email as their phone system takes too long to get through!
