A company called from 01325612456 about industrial illnesses. When I asked them not to call me again and to take my number off their database they immediately hungup.

I rang this number back its 1st call group. Did google search, it's a PPI selling group. Looks dodgy. The times they call are not normal business hours.

When I phoned them they said the company was RED STAR asking if I had credit problems.

Some Fri 4 and 5pm calls unanswered. Return the call now and the line has canadian ish voice saying line is deactivated...but on the bill its 27 pence each time! Telecom should investigate its apparent support of criminal activity. Obviously money extortion racket. Criminal scum

I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. I am surprised nobody else has clicked on to this yet......Doesn t sound too dodgy to me. Obviously Adrian has opted for no marketing calls from Carphone Warehouse themselves. Foreign man claiming to be from Windows. He got stroppy with me when I challenged him about being a scam.

This number rang today, asked about my soffits. Very annoying as this is a local Rochdale number and I usually answer those since it might be someone I want to speak to!

Called my mobile, knew my name and started "I have here that you used to work in a noisy industry". Sigh...
