Yet another fecking recorded caller in a robotic voice saying that " there has been a FRAUD ticket marked against you. If you do not press 1, then we will assume you want to be arrested and the police will come to your home and arrest you." Or something along those lines. Same crap, probably from the same office, same people (if you can call them that), on a different number. Just hang up on these wasters of Oxygen.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Don't know who called. Unable to understand strong Asian accent due to hearing problem. Hung up however they didn't ring back so, possible scam.
Just had a call for this number - an automated message saying it was from HMRC and my name was linked to fraud. I had to press 1 to be connected to an advisor. Failure to do so would mean I would be arrested.....I'll take that risk.

missed call when i rang it back line just goes beep then cuts off. Bad sign - trustworthy companies have a recorded message explaining who they are, etc. Did a bit of research - very worrying. consumer websites show people being asked for their bank card details then fees being debited that they werent expecting. Sounds like a scam or at least very, very sharp practise. Avoid answering or block number, is my advice.
SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. Was from an Indian Call Centre (you could tell from the background noise) asking about a car accident I had during the last 2 years (I have not had one) so I challenged him as to where he got my number from he hung up.
Had approximately 8 calls from this company over 3 days. Asking for wrong name, or using wrong number - not interested in whatever they are selling.
