Scam indian/pakistani/bangladeshi caller pretending to sell electricity and gas. They don't know a lot about either so they are just gathering details in the hope of profiling you. Several calls today, i managed to make one last 37 mins whilst i did other things. That is 37 other calls they couldn't make. RESULT
01162 129945 This phone number is saying it’s from Virgin media aboutslow internet reported by my router. The voice sounds as if it comes from abroad, not Leicester, the caller sounds foreign. SCAM FRAUD. I got a call from a 07 mobile number prior to this call. Both of them is an automated message saying a letter from HRM Revenue was sent to you but was returned. Legal action will be taken against you, press 1 to bla bla bla. I didn’t even bother to listen to the rest because there is no reason for HRM Revenue to contact me. It s an Umbrella Payroll Company for Contractors. I checked out their website as I m unhappy with my current one, and saw the missed call from them (this number), promptly followed by a text message. Googled the missed call number, saw the text 1min later and out 2+2 together.

Had a missed call alert from this number as above. Answerphone also said AM Legal so sounds like a cold call. If you have option to block I would recommend doing so!

SCAM - clearly someone trying to get info about bank details. Rang pretending to be from my bank - starts with an automated message stating a large amount of money has been requested from account & if not authorised, press 1. Person then answers but does not know name/details etc & tries to get you to give details. Be really careful with this number - clearly fraudsters/scammers.

I wish they would leave a voicemail message when they ring. I just missed their call and as there was no message I assumed it was a scam call. we get a lot and would never ring the number back unless there was a message left saying who it was and why they were ringing. but I would ring 150 from the landline if I'd known it was virgin regarding my problem. only trouble is that you can be waiting for over an hour before you get an answer! not happy with virgin at all.
