Fraud I am selling a car in Czechia, this number contacts me and is interested in buying. Says he's in Belgium, that his mother is from UK and father from Belgium. He did not speak very good English and had no French accent either. He repeated several times that he'd send me money for the car in advance and send a private shipping company afterwards. Photos on a Czech ad site were apparently enough. When I was insisting on a face to face meeting, the call abruptly ended. Be careful!!!

Glad I ignored it as the first few calls only my children had my number so it was not anyone or business I knew. Had a call from this number, identified itself as Humberside Police to my call barring service but then cut off when I tried to answer. Line went dead when tried to recall. Had a call tonight with the recorded voice "drone - 70% debt - drone - press 5" so I did - got the name of the company the person was representing informed him of the TPS and their legal requirement to not call me. Was asked if I was using a script - said no in lounge at home - please remove my number and hung up. I ve just registered the number with the TPS as unsolicited/intrusive call. Also had the same recorded voice on calls with no number or "Overseas" displayed by the CLI.

As others, I answered the phone and waited, and waited, and waited. After around 15 seconds I heard it start to dial out, and someone then began to speak but I closed the call before responding. Clearly a call centre whose autodial is calling faster than their agents can respond.
