SCAM. The source of this call is in Russia and was a text message purportedly from a Hermes a delivery company and saying that they were unable to deliver an item. To get it delivered to reply. Scam ringing. Leaving voice mail that saying same thing like it's her magesty bla bla... Press 1... I had like this call... lost lots of money stupidly. There a man start talking same thing like he is from criminal court... That you have to pay money immediately... Becouse you have not payed tax... And bla bla. Don't belive a word. Just hang up.. And if you not sure ring hmrc and check.
Utilities They said they were from BT. Starting asking about my internet. Asked if I had given my password to anybody other than family as during the times of midnight to 2am there has been unusual activity. All sounds a bit dodgy. I hung up at that point.

SCAM - Seems to be a call centre as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities.
