In this type of scam, the sender, generally through an email, requests help in facilitating the transfer of a substantial sum of money. In return, the sender offers a commission, usually in the range of several million dollars. The scammers then request that money be sent to pay for some of the costs associated with the transfer. Once money is sent to the scammers, they will either disappear immediately or try to get more money with claims of continued problems with the transfer.

SCAM CALL EARLY MORNING

Called me to do some advertising which cost 120.00. I paid them, now when you call, they hang up continously, no magazine as promised with my advert has been delivered to me. Also use another coventry number, 02476525520. have also notified the police about these 2 numbers!!!!!!!!!!!!

They called my landline at 8.49am (automated at first) pretending to be AMAZON to say I'm about to be charged £39.99 for my AMAZON PRIME subscription which i don't have and have never signed up for, but to cancel it i need to be on my device and they would talk me through it on-line. When i asked if is this was a SCAM she said 'What are you talking about' and put the phone down on me.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. National Accident Helpline. Continually calling TPS registered mobile number. If they get a negative response they keep coming back using peoples first names that they insist have called them from your number. They are scum and should be shut down
