This number 01273725788, which was unknown to me, called (annoyingly) at 8 am on a Saturday and didn't leave a message, so I'm assuming it's a scam call or a call centre.

18 Oct 2021 - cheeky git tried threatening me with court . Claiming was calling from HMRC and i owed tax. Asked him to confirm when its for and turns out it was 2020, well i, along with a lot of the population was on furlough. I basically argued its HMRCs responsibility to calculate what i pay so its not my fault. Ive had no communication in the post and he will have to take me to court. Claimed to be a company called ESS. They said that they were aware that I had a boiler over 10 years old and that they were agents for Zanussi. When I told them that the number was registered with the TPS, the call was disconnected.

This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.
Sending texts every day, to chase a debt that I do not owe. I want to bring harassment charges against them, also I want to arrive to their offices and slice open their throats. Watch this space.
