Said they were calling from Carphone Warehouse and offered a very expensive phone deal. Scam and potentially dangerous. Hung up when I asked them to remove me from their calling list.
Recorded English voice telling me that "according to their records" I had a previous accident claim or medical malpractice claim etc. I pressed no buttons and hung up. We re on TPS but this company clearly ignores that. Will report to ICO.
Fraud SCAM Called me pretending to be from Amazon saying that someone had ordered an iPhone on my account. They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. Called at 0952 hours March 26 2021 to state that my Amazon Prime account (which I do not have) was about to renew and I could "stop" the renewal by speaking to their manager.

The same recorded message about them "urgently trying to contact me". Energy related, mentions solar panels too, and concludes by saying they are UK based and government funded. The recording always states that you can press 2 to talk free to their adviser, but I never do in case this is redirected to a premium-rate number. I ve reported it to the ICO numerous times. Sometimes the same message arrives without a return number. Wish I knew how to stop this.

Said he was in the area doing some window and driveway installation work and wondered if there was anything he could help me with. I queried where he got my number from and he hung up. called the number back (01174433677) and it's an automated voice saying i'd been called by digital marketing solutions company for market research (not the name of the company he'd given!).

Annoying automated calls supposedly from my internet provider (they are not) saying my internet is about to be cut off. The calls come at all times of day, even before 8am.
Fraud. Said they were from Amazon Prime and that money would continue to be taken from my bank account unless I cancelled my subscription. Told me that I should press 1 on my keypad if I wished to speak to a manager. I do not have an Amazon Prime account. This is a total scam!
Probably TPI (Third Party Intermediary) using hard sell techniques to convince to switch to OPUS or similar energy companies. They will do anything possible to hide the fact that they are energy brokers which is actually against the Trading Standards but Ofgem will soon start to go after them. They will try to convince you to accept a new contract with them. DO NOT Trust them as they will get paid and you may end up with an expensive new contract.
