Just called and advised of an emergency and advised me to leave the building.

Person with an Asian accent (after a delay) introducing himself as Peter Thompson purporting to be from BT claimed someone in America was using my IP address and accessing emails . Asked what devices I was using to access the internet. The scammer wasn t afraid to argue back aggressively when I told him in no uncertain terms I knew this was an attempt to hack in to the internet.

Received an obscene call from this number this evening - young sounding guy with northern accent. He hung up when my husband asked him what he wanted.
