Got a scam call about an accident in my car
Recorded message telling me there was an investigation on my national insurance number, suspected of being involved with fraud or something. Pressed 1 to be connected to an operator (might as well waste their time) but as soon as it connected they hung up on me. Phone scammers not wanting to take a phone call? HOW do they expect to defraud me of money if they won't even talk to me? :-)
Just answered a call from this number and was told they were looking to speak to S MacDonald which is myself. They said they were calling regarding a personal matter on behalf on a mutual client but could not tell me any more information until I confirmed by details. Girl was rude and very blunt on the with her responses. I will not confirm any details unless I know who is calling but she refused to disclose that to me. Hung up
Very rude , people asking for details about name and company and the young man was not trained properly!!! Instead of listening dry my number from his data base and stop calling me many times a day he continue to talk and explained when I was clear that I don t need explanations and I was asking for my number to be removed and no more phone calls from them.!!!! Picked up, the line was silent and then started ringing as though I had called the number (I get the feeling this is a reverse charges scam) Someone picked up on the other end after 1 ring said my name then hung up. Number is being blocked - be careful!
