Said he wanted to do a survey which was very short, I told him no thank you, hung up and blocked the call.

Caller said he was from BT and would arrange for an engineer to call round in the next 2 days to install a device that would stop nuisance calls it would last for 15 years. The cost would be a one off charge of £8. Did I want to proceed with getting my line configured. I work in the industry the caller sounded amateurish but could see how other people might be taken in.
