This is a call centre based in Wales who were calling on behalf of the Vote IN campaign for the British European Referendum. The number they use has been spoofed using illegal equipment to change the number from its true origin. I have been informed from a friend who is one of the chief engineers at BT headquarters in Martlesham Suffolk that this practice is illegal as it interferes with BT's telephone exchange network.
This person identifies himself as Thomas from Adobe and has called us over and over to the point of harassment. He has been told that we wont put his call through to the person he wants to speak to as they don’t want his call. He tries to intimidate his way through, then sits mimicking me down the phone line and finally he leaves the line connected so nobody else can call us. The number even though a local number (0203 655 7035) has connections to India and the guy speaking has an Indian accent.
