Rang twice on 11 April at 15.50. Both times when I answered, the caller hung up immediately.

Had a liverpudlian girl called Lucy call me just from 01704222222, said she was calling from Alderley Assist, got the usual call centre spiel, had my name on file which I confirmed. The caller rang of as soon as I answered. Therefore I suspect some Sort of sales rubbish or scammer. They will not get a chance to mess me about again as I am blocking the number. this is a few of similar numbers ringing my home phone. they keep asking for Miss Brenda/Grenda. I keep asking them to leave a message, usually they put the phone down on me but Asian speaking male told me to go away. pmsl. and put phone down on me. pmsl
Seems to be a call from Grove and Dean insurance. Called their official number and they had no knowledge. Unclear.
Said she was from Autodesk or AutoCAD and was looking to speak to accounts as license was due to expire. As we don't use Autocad i got suspicious, then she asked if she was speaking to a certain company, of which i didn't know. This may have been a genuine call where they phoned the wrong company or could have been a scam to try and get a payment. As Autodesk now use 3rd party account managers then you would normally know the person calling you and they would be using the correct names.
Don’t answer, they claim you already have insurance with them. Then they try to get your bank or credit card details. Scammers.
