I answered, a man was on the other end, claimed to be a part of a pension plan scheme, I never paid to on, opted for one, nor did my previous employer contributed to one on my behalf, told the man this in answer to his questions, he thanked me for my time and said bye. That was it, but the fact it was unsolicited, made it seem like a scam.

This is BT text service notifying you that soemone has sent a SMS to your home phone number which it will subsequently read if your home phone is not SMS enabled. A pain as it doesn t seem to be limited to reasonable hours. I don t remember telling Parcelforce that I wanted a 6AM wakeup call, I seem to remember ordering an item and receiving an email with tracking info saying they were going to deliver it. they call me at least twice a day from all different numbers but as yet I have not answered any of them as they are from a debt that was about ten years ago which is past the statute of limit

When I dialed the number, it was out of order, so it looks like this call was from an overseas number that was spoofing a UK dial-back number.

Suspicious calls, various times and days of the week. Invariably two calls up to three hours apart. when answer no one there. Nuisance calls.
