To be honest anyone idiotic enough to fall for a scam like this deserves to be scammed.

A couple of calls. No-one there when answered. I thought that was illegal now ?
I answered a call from this number, and heard a male at the other end of the line with the sound of other people in the room. He didn’t answer immediately, and after a short while asked if I could hear him, to which I, possibly foolishly replied “Yeah, yeah”. The phone was not put down at his end, but there was no reply when I tried to communicate at which point I ended the call.
SCAM - claimed to be HMRC and if you do not click 1 on your keypad then you will be arrested!
