Just had a very shady call, would only speak to the owner. Did some digging and found this warning on facebook: *ATTENTION SMALL BUSINESSES* Had a call from this company earlier today, trying to sell me advertising space on GP surgery appointment cards... Received an abandoned call on 22/03/2023. I called back and they immediately knew my name as they could see my number (despite it being withheld). After much persuasion on my part, they told me they were DIRECT AFFINITY EUROPE and had been given my details by a Hull motor dealer (D.M. Keith) to chase a 'lost sale'. But I had told D.M Keith that my number should never be passed to any third party!
I get at least 1 or 2 missed calls from this No. a day.. I am a Vodafone customer but I haven t actually managed to answer the call so I am not sure if it is Vodafone as per the other comments. I wouldn t call back as I have heard of many scams where they charge you LOADS to return the call for 2 secs of call time. If it was that important the person would leave a message or write to you in the mail. As far as I am concerned we are not missing out on anything here by not answering the calls.
