Fraud - claiming to be from HMRC and stating a fraud claim has been lodged. Attempts to scare you by saying rejecting the call will automatically issue a warrant.

Very aggressive sales call from Vodafone (legit, the number is on their website). Keeps calling back despite me asking them not to. If you are a customer make a formal complaint, it takes 2 minutes using the form on their website. Not a nice way to treat loyal customers.

Like another person wrote on here, I said no to the insurance on the website, the person was friendly enough and accepted no thanks, but I didn t consent to my number being used in that way, only for delivery info (i.e. time slot) to be given. Always ask them security questions, they got the order number correct and I don t know if there is a scam where they say they ll take away the old appliance for free, and then somehow charge you or possibly sign you up for insurance even though you said no, idk. SCAM This is a call centre saying it is a courtesy call due to an appliances warrantee expiring, on this instance it was a washing machine, so quite believable. They wanted £65 per year for another 3 years full cover. It sounded very genuine until she said that she wanted me to tell her the name and make of my appliance and i said that i was ok and didn't want to renew the warrantee as i'd had it for over 5 years, then they just hung up and the line went dead.
