Started by asking for my wife. Told her she wasn't in. Then confirmed my name, said he was offering a call blocker for unrecognised calls for free. Mentioned that I paid for my phone bill by direct debit (who doesn't?) and then listed a load of banks, none of them mine. When I laughed he got annoyed and asked why. When I told him I didnt have any banks of that name, did he just want my sort code and account number, he was talking over me and telling me to listen!!! Cut him off. Be warned.

This is the third telephone call I have had today from different numbers saying that my Amazon Account is about to be charged for renewal unless I press 1. I don't have such an account, so I rang off immediately.
SCAM said she was from virgin media and I had a fault with my internet connection, then asked me about the lights on my router and what they were doing when I queried the questions and her proof that she was from the company she started to waffle on so I told her to venture forth and multiply, she put the phone down, how rude
