Claimed to be from TalkTalk and said that my area code was in 'serious danger' of something that could 'destroy all my devices'. Was very rude and hung up when told him I wasn't with TalkTalk. Probably a scam of some kind.

He has called me twice in the past two days. He said I am owed ?2,000 in PPI. He then asked me to confirm my age, address, name etc. I didn t want to give out my details to him and he said I would receive some documentation in the post from my bank. After refusing to give him my details, he ended the call. A piece of advice- give these scammers fake details (play them at their own game) and lead them up the garden path.
This must be a multi corporate call centre as my call was from O. He seemed legit as he was able to tell me my tarrif, how much data i use and how long ive been with them. Your choice if you answer as you will never really know which buisness they are deal
