Caller identified himself as Reid from Reactive Media. Said he was calling about an overpayment on a (non-existent) loan between two arbitrary dates. When asked for details he couldn t give any and when pushed further he hung up.

I have been called twice from this number. On the second occassion I returned the call as it was a local code but was a bit unsure as the second part of the number was unfamilli...

Calls every other day or so - always hangs up on answer so I suspect it is automated.

on 22 june the above number 0161 8735544 rang my son and said that an amount of ?1500.00 was waiting to be claimed fir whiplash for a accident he had in 2009 foulishly he gave them details including his mobile phone number and said they will ring him on monday 25th june to follow this up. very nasty voice informing me from hm tax office and to press 1 to talk to police officer. not the usual asian voice like most scams.Very unpleasant have barred number. I am 70 years old so could do without these lowlife callers

Young guy called my mums home number (she s in her 70 s) and said that she had over paid money in to her bank and they needed to refund it and started asking for date of birth so she hung up. Be very careful with company! Avoid speaking to them!!!!

I ve received about 8 calls from this number in the last week. When I answer, I can hear what sounds like Call Centre noise, but no person talking to me. After a few seconds they hang up. Not worried or frightened, just a bit miffed that they won t have a conversation with me. Not a call. A text message claiming Whatsapp was going to expire with a link to pay to extend usage. Whatsapp is free to use and no longer expires. Scam!

Company called REDSTAR based in Manchester, typical call centre set up, saying they can get me refunds on PPI insurance, or cash for an accident I know nothing about... Don t give them any further personal info...Blocked.

Saying that I was due a hearing test and may be due a payment because of previously working in a noisy construction work environment. This was false info as I have never worked in that environment. Caller also knew my first name and street. Terminated the call.
