Someone called Paul Adams from BT Openreach said they were cutting off internet access for 25 days as there was suspicious activity on our router. He then asked if I was in front of a pc connected to the router. He had an Asian accent. I put the phone down at that point

I ve had three calls today from 02088523462 five yesterday, every time trying to convince me that they are "Microsoft technical" that my computer is "sending them errors". I know this is bs and decided today to have a nice long conversation with them about my background in networks engineering and how I know it is bs, but I understand that the guy on the other line is only doing his job and reading a script and that if he doesn t get abusive with me we should be able to resolve this. I simply stated that,

James claimed to be from Microsoft Windows and there were corrupt files on my PC - just like other scammers Told them I had Microsoft antivirus, antispyware and malware and there was nothing wrong Even handed over to the supervisor who continued to argue.. I just terminated the call and reported the number to TPS/ICO

They ve just called my new company mobile which I ve had just over a week. It has a mobile number in a reserved pool of numbers. Clearly scammers.

Unwanted call. Today last 2 times that no give missed call on my no. Please tell me who is using this no.

Apparently this number belongs to a firm that has accused people of having debts when they do not, but just as many people have picked up the call to be greeted by silence. I get calls from criminals trying to get information daily so have stopped answering when I do not recognise the calling number.
