08443572642 text me today with this 4000 GBP scam. Please be aware that this is not a legitimate text. I called my Bank just to make sure and it was confirmed that it is a scam.
These people handle "deceased accounts" on behalf of Eon in UK. (I suspect they buy the debt). They also seem very interested in probate matters - perhaps they gain extra business this way. However - was pleasant call (got my number from Eon - I am Mum s executor), and they were not chasing payment just establishing status.

I am getting called by an asian/indian person nearly every day usually says they are from U Benefit or Benefit U. Always asks my age etc and when i say i am fed up with the calls from the company he swears they have not rung me before and then if I say yes they have he starts swearing before slamming the phone down.
