BT someone! Didn’t give them chance to talk! Replied “Oh yes, BT scam, goodbye!” Only as yesterday I’d been called by the 53 number & checked the comments on that. Thank goodness for this site!

Usual call claiming to know I’d been in a recent car accident and saying they can help me claim compensation.

claim to be talktalk, said computor was running slow and said she would talk me threw fixing it, told her i did not trust her and to do one, she was not english and liverpool numbers as far as i recall are all 11 numbers hers shows up only as ten numbers.

Likes to call owners of stolen pets and tell them their pets are DEAD! Too thick to withhold the number though.

Another gang of cons using this number to scam you and rob you. Should be locked up for life.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing - sometimes energy companies. Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs for just ringing you and left no message (other than scam...)? If this was a silent call for you, do not call back for any reason! Probably I am wrong with this one but started

Apparent unsolicited mortgage marketing call. They identified themselves as "Mortgage Review". Refused to answer my questions about who they were and what they wanted and why they had called, insisting I should identify myself first. They then tried to get me to put my wife on the line, becoming more and more irate. I would expect legitimate callers to identify themselves and their business before demanding information.

Cocky Liverpool bloke. Said he was calling about my category c accident. When I said what accident, he asked how did I not know I had been in a accident! I cut him off due to his rudeness.

Július 4-én késő este jött SMS, UPS tracking-től, hogy a csomagom elakadt, klikkeljek egy linkre, ahol ki tudom fizetni a felmerült vámot. Sajnos fáradt voltam, nem figyeltem, ráadásul volt is függőben lévő külföldi megrendelésem. Beleszaladtam a csapdába, megadtam az adatokat. Szerencsére gyorsan kapcsoltam és azonnal beléptem a bankomba, ahol lenulláztam a bankkártya limitemet. Ma délután már hívtak is bankomból, hogy gyanús tevékenységet észleltek, 188 AED (Arab Emirátusok) értékben akartak levonni pénzt
