received call foreign sounding man said he was from BT technical department.we are not actually with BT! told me ip address was compromised and people could see what I do on my computer and wanted me to go on my computer so they stop the person hacking computer. I told him i didn't believe him and was going to tell my son who's a policeman and then he put phone down on me. phone number is from Algeria. the frightening thing is that I could hear loads of other speaking in background just like a call centre.

Asked for Mr Collins which is not my name asked who I was and I did not tell them as it was a call to my mobile number. Tried to start asking me questions while I told them I was registered on TPS (yes you can register mobiles) and they should remove my number from their list astghey could now be fined for a breach of the TPS rules. THEY HUNG UP. !!

This number is costing me £2.50 every time I receive a text from them, but I have never contacted them or subscribed to anything!!! 02 wont do anything as its a third party and I've tried sending a "stop" message as 02 told me to, to no avail. I think these things quite disgusting - and even worse is that 02 wont help! VERY UNHAPPY

The girl called 'Kate' mentioned my business name and said she found me via facebook. There was a lot of background noise. Sounded like a call centre but can't be sure. I was cagey on the phone as I was not expecting the call and unfortunately am very aware of prank calls. Had a Puppy from Shoreham Pet Rescue, Charlie came with FREE 4 weeks insurance from PetPlan, I was told if you Do Not want to continue with the insurance, Just do nothing, and it will be cancelled, PetPlan has rang me for 2 weeks Twice a day, IT IS JUST SELLS,now I know it is PetPlan, I WILL answer the call next, and tell them NO to insurance for Charlie, That should Stop the calls.?
