IT'S A DANGEROUS SCAM! A computer is dialling numbers in sequence to sniff out voice lines. If you speak then the line is detected as 'an active voice line' and logged as such, a scammer will then be calling you later! If you don't recognize the number calling DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear a voice and then the line goes dead then congratulations - you have just successfully escaped being scammed! THESE CALLS ARE HARASSING AND ALWAYS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!

ABSOLUTE C*NTS! Called me regarding work on my website. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The caller mentioned a number of lapses in my website which they could fix as part of their ?400 package, including Google ranking etc. Rather than taking her word for it, I tested these so called lapses on a friend s mobile device which contradicted everything she was saying. SCAM ... Indian who told me my Visa card had an attempt made on it to transfer funds overseas, originating from Western Australia. Started asking me if I also did transactions on the computer or internet with my account. I asked him why he needed to know that and he hung up.
Sent me information on buying carbon credits after me avoiding them for weeks - now they are trying to ring me 4 times a day - I just reject the call now ..... Paid number. Received a voicemail from a woman speaking a foreign language that I do not speak after not answering. The voicemail was the same as one I received from a different paid number. Pretty sure that this is a scam (I have no reason to receive so many similar calls from different numbers), either one which expects you to call back in confusion so you can be charged or one that will try to scam you if you do pick it up.
