Crazy scam with an Asian guy trying to bamboozle me with tech-speak. Told me my ip address had been made public and should be switched back to private. I asked him to confirm my IP address 'so I could be sure we were talking about the same connection'. He said no one had my IP address. I asked him for a phone number to call back on and he hung up. Total scam - I don't even have BT broadband.

They called me a few moments ago and, wwhen I asked where they got my number, they became rude and evasive so I hung up. An Indian sounding woman rang straight back demanding to know why I "Cut the call". We had a row and I hung up again. Believe it or not, she rang straight back again.
