Call rejected as number was from Dumfries (I live in the West Midlands!). I googled it to find out who they were. PPI calls from Dumfries. Caller now blocked.

Wanted me to press 1 to keep my amazon prime active. Thing is I do not subscribe to amazon prime so 99% sure it was a scam. I checked with Amazon who said it was nothing to do with them. They have recorded that number as a scam caller so this number is definitely a scammers number.

Claimed to be BT, I do wish these unintelligible wouldn't waste my time.

Informed my internet connection would be cut off as I had an infected computer. Offered to fix it. I terminated call but was given this number to call back 0115888521. Said his employee number was D860056 and was employed by BT.

Potential Fraud/Spam/Scam. They were asking to do a survey on energy savings (government scheme?) to see how windows/insulation are in my home. Said I was not interested, but since they called me by my name I asked where they got it from and she said from the Energy Saving Database. ???? what database is that? When I further enquired she said they will mark me as having received it and hang up without further discussion. Trying to dial the number does not even connect.
